XP1000® VDE Long Nose Pliers, 160mm, Tethered

Expert quality XP1000®, manufactured from premium steel forged in Germany. Induction-hardened jaws provide better gripping performance as well as an effortless clean cutting edge. Internal knurled long nose head for ease of pulling wires and working in confined spaces. The precision machined pivot pins allow smooth one-handed operation and minimum play for ease of use. A two-part bi-material ergonomic soft grip handle allows maximum grip and user comfort, and horns prevent slipping onto live conductors. Tested to 10,000V, these pliers are suitable for working on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. The handle also incorporates a tethered fixing solution to comply with Work at Height Regulations (lanyard Stock No. 82474 and wrist strap Stock No. 03740 sold separately).
